PMA-3 mine variations in color and markings

Hello, Here is a group of PMA-3 mines from the former Yugoslavia. Each one is different in color and/or markings.

I have read that the marking "СРБ" (SRB) means that it was made before 1991 in the Slavko Rodić factory in Bugojno, a city in what is now Bosnia and Herzegovina. That is all I know about the meaning of the various colors and markings seen here. Can anyone here tell by the markings and colors where and when the other ones were made?

On the top row, the green one on the left and the black one next to it have identical yellow markings. It is hard to see in the picture, but the numbers are the same on those two.

The black one on the top right is different from the other black one because it has a black fuze plug, no yellow printing, and on the inside it is missing the lid on the chamber that would have contained the main charge. It does not look like it ever had this part. They are glued in place, so it would be easy to see if it had been removed. I do not know if this was a wartime production expedient or if the mine was unfinished. It is missing the safety band, so I don't know what color that would have been. (The black one with the green plug has a green safety band.)

The one that is marked "PMA-3" instead of "ПМА-3" is also a different shade of green than the usual color. (It looks faded, but it really is a different color.) The square shape engraved into it is not original. It is something done to it probably by the same person who made all those ugly scratches on it. It also had "inert" stamped onto it in black, which is mostly rubbed off.

I'm interested in any information about these particular mines or the history of PMA-3 mine production.

stenciled marking "124" refers to Slavko Rodic Bugojno factory or some of its manufactures post 1992. Different colors of plastic body are variations related to a wartime production in various workshops and manufactures.

Thank you for this helpful information. Do you know why the one mine is marked "PMA", instead of "ПМA"? Have you seen many like that?

Thanks, Ivashkin. I have seen other Yugoslavian ordnance marked in the latin alphabet, but the only other time I have seen it on this mine, it was the practice version, marked VPMA-3. How common is it to find the PMA-3 marked like this one?

Part of the reason I am asking is because I am thinking of making this one into a cutaway model. This mine is in poor condition anyway, and if I cut out a 1/4 section, I will remove most of the damaged parts. (The rubber cover also has damage.) I might not do this if it is a rare version, however. I am curious about opinions about this.

I don`t think, that Cyrillic marking very rare, but latinic I think used in most situation and in book usually we can see latinic marking.
