Hi All
Some years ago a good friend of mine in Northern Luzon in the Philippines mentioned to me that he would some day like to open a WW2 Museum. His name is Andrew and he been a member on BOCN for some time under the handle "youngbrain". I first meet him on BOCN and my family was also privileged enough to visit him and attend his wedding. He is a very enthusiastic collector and being a machinist by trade he does very well at fabricating necessarily parts in his restoration projects.
So it was to no surprise that a few days ago he told me that he has started a fund raising campaign to try to raise enough money to kick start the museum off the drawing board and into reality. He already has some land in Tobuk in Kalinga Province for the proposed museum.
Here is the link for the fund raising;

Any help from fellow members will be very much appreciated to help to kick start such a valuable and much needed project to help preserve WW2 history. Such museums in the Philippines are few and far between. Even though there is a lot that can still be preserved as seen in this You tube link of a small WW2 museum in Valencia, Negros Oriental;

A very good collection. I love the bombs.
Many thanks to you all,
Cheers,
Robert
