just come across this on ebay and have just sent a polite note to the seller about the potential of the round in the breech being live, what do you guys think? (not sure about the relic browning being legal to own in itself? your thoughts?)

Maybe he can see it's a fired cart case? Maybe it's totally blocked up and rusted? Maybe there's no working parts? One of those grey areas?

update, the seller got back to me and said the .303 round has been checked out and is totally safe - so all's well regarding that. (better safe than sorry, so to speak)

......and of course there is the point of it being illegal to remove any item from an aircraft(RAF) wreck for commercial purposes,ie to sell it!
