Oerlikon 30 x 76

Attached are some photographs of a 30 x 76 Oerlikon case. Its the second one I've come across in 22 years of collecting.
Neither of the cases have projectiles. The line drawing in the W D DeHek books don't show a projectile either.
Does anyone have any information on the projectiles or the gun it was used for?
Thanks.
Dave.

Just bumping this thread, guys, help me out on this one please, I'm struggling a bit with finding any info on it at all.
Thanks.
Dave.

Some info from Bob Gerber:

From what little information I have, this was never used in an actual cannon. The purpose of this short case appears to have been the simulation of the terminal velocity of High explosive shells equipped with a particular type of nose fuze in order to check / perfect the performance of the latter. This allowed the firing of the involved projectiles at reduced ranges so as to increase the efficiency and reduce the costs of the corresponding tests.
I am not presently aware of which shells / fuzes were actually tested. I will, however, attempt to obtain more precise info, to the extent of the possible.

No, Vol 1 of the four-volume set only goes up to 20mm.

The 30x76 drawing is in the earlier Lenselink/de Hek book "Small and Medium Calibre Military Cartridges".
