Not marked 20mm cartridge

I found 2 cartridges os 20 mm, there are no marks on it.
Can any one identefy this

wasn't this casing called M103 and was used for all the types of the M50's series ? (so not only the M56)

You are right, the M56 was the cartridge designation I had somewhere. The case is the M103 of course.

To add a bit more info: The M55 was the "ball" (practice) loading of this ammo, the M56 was the standard HEI, the M51 was a dummy, the M53 was an API.

The M50 series was replaced in USAF service from the late 1980s by the PGU-28 SAPHEI and similar ammo, which have more aerodynamically shaped projectiles (the PGU-28 being a Nammo Raufoss Multipurpose type). These still use the M103 case, as do the APDS series for the Phalanx naval CIWS.

20x102 if no ink markings on the side pod impossible to know provenance
Caliber U.S. origin but used and manufactured in many countries.

I,ve a band with 30 of this cartridge,s en they have a print on the site of the cartridge. posible the code is DM1001 A1 LOS NWM3-392- but I.m not sure,
