Hello,

Some documentation about the bomb pistol No. 28 made from Phenol formaldehyde resin (trade names Nestorite; Rockite; Bakelite, etc.) mention that the No. 28 pistol was the Mk IV regardless of the shape.
Other documentation mentions that the No. 28 Mk IV was the pistol with the straight knurling body and the No. 28 Mk V had flat spanner flats.

There are also different shapes of the knurling body. Some complete around the whole body other with interrupted knurling around the body.

Who can give the right answer and have good pictures with markings on it.

Greetings Antoon

I once had these in my collection.

Fusse2004,

Thanks for the pictures.

When I read the subtitlings of the pictures there is also a Bakelite No. 30 Mk IV and a Bakelite No. 30 Mk V?

What is FL meaning in two of the subtitlings?

Greetings - Antoon
