Today a new item for my collection has arrived.

It's a Dutch NR20C3 grenade fitted with the NR19C3 Fuze and has a 9C1 (training) igniter.

Nice grenade Orpheus. What era might it be from? Really nice...Dano

It's an modern (1970-present) grenade Dano. This one (see marlings on the fuze) is from 1986.
They are now replaced by the NR330C1 and C2 (if i'm correct)

I've seen this one for sale online. Wasnt interested, theres some text missing I believe. But still, nice grenade. :)

Oh yeah, since you're from Belgium.. This one was overpriced. Seen them a few times for 20 euros. :p :p :p

Thanks orpheus, was curious. That grenade has what I call "the look", it just looks good. I had never seen one before and she's a beauty...Dano

Orpheus,

Very nice grenade! Does the body feel more rubbery than plastic? Also can you look inside and see some of the small 1-3mm balls inside?

The body is made from High density plastic, so it feels hard.
Yes, on the inside you can clearly see the small balls.

I tried to photograph it, but it was difficult to get a good shot.

Orpheus, excellent shot on the BB's inside the grenade! That is what I was expecting.

I have a similar grenade in my collection (although i never heard from a C3 version). My Nr20 has also no marking but has the fuse 19C3/20C1.

Is this the right fuse? My grenade has no metal balls/shrapnell inside (like picture above) and is also made of hard plastic.
