Hi all
Another dull day on belgium so decided to go to the Wavre Fair.
It`s a small fair but with a fairly good variety of items. As ever prices vary a lot (60 Euros for a 1936 3.7 WWII Flak/Pak case in not bad condition I thought was a bit steep?)
Picked up the items in the pic after a bit of haggling & socialising!!
35mm German made Oerlikon drill/training round - not great condition but haven`t seen many.
Oerlikon 25 APDS
German made Oerlikon 25mm Drill/training
German 30 x 113RB Drill/Training
US made 20 mm 1942 oerlikon
1940 brass MGFF case (I only have steel ones)
Jordanian headstamped .50 cal
German 20mm Drill/training
2cm HETSD projestile. German 1942 fuze. This is taller than the 151/20 & 2cm Flak/Pak projectiles - would i/ be right in thinking it is for the german Oerlikon?
Last but not least - a BESA 7.92 MG belt with starter tab all nicely embossed by French & Sons & all the links have the F & S Fleur de Lys on them. This also has the wooden block crimped in the last link. Does anyone know what this was for? I was led to believe it stopped the gun (obviously!!) but held the working parts open?
