Don't have any measurements just the pictures. The tab like items are shipped in the plastic like egg. Appears like a chem delay. Some are saying OSS but can't find it in my pubsChem Delay (1).jpgChem Delay (2).jpgChem Delay (3).jpgChem Delay (4).jpg

Hi Webereod

Never seen this one in any OSS publications, but never say never!

Looking at the plastic, my guess is Eastern European Communist Bloc, but I cannot say for sure.

Sorry I cannot help at the moment.

Cheers

I'd have to agree with switch. For now I don't have anything more than a gut feeling that I've read about similar color coding in other publications on Eastern Bloc Chem delay items. More to follow.

Thanks - I agree, looks close to Czeck or maybe Yugo stuff I have seen in the past. Search continues

Interesting top, am pretty sure it is not related to a grenade, but then we still haven't determined it is a chem delay for sure.

Thanks for the replies, the search continues

Hi,
the thing on V-10 flashbang is a shipping plug.

The more I look at the unknown item, i think it is not chemical, but something cuts thru the square metal.
Such "metalloelement" can be found on soviet fuzes such as VZD-3M
different color gives different timing (at given temperature)

Will search some more.

It looks like chemical, but not any metalloelement for soviet devices, because they`re complitely different from this part. And metalloelement uses in a lot of fuzes and another ammo. VZD-3M only one of them.
Colour codes here really are useing. In ampule I think acid and in plugs with different colours some delay elements.
