Hi All,

The projectile on the left is a 2pdr AT APT...........but I can't remember
what the one on the right exactly is?

I think it is a 37mm and looks very similar to some 37mm nordenfelt I use
to have with the lower narrow drive band just above the base (they also had just a "N"
stamp on the body) - have no measurements at this stage nor markings....

Anyone care to attempt guess the ID from just the photo?

Thanks

Cheers

It certainly looks like a 37mm Nordenfelt projectile. It would usually just have a 'N' on the body and sometimes a date.

Yes it does have the "N" on the body and a "89" stamped under it.

So is the "89" implies 1889?

Also there were quite a few of these floating around about 20 odd years ago - now (like everything else) hard to find.....how "common" are they thesedays?

Thanks
Cheers
