Hello all. I'm Michael As you will be hearing from both of us, I would like to introduce you to my collection. Room is tiny, only 8'x8'. But, you know what they say about small packages. As you can see. I have wide, and varied interests. More to come.

Hi Michael,
Welcome to the forum, and thanks for showing us your collection you have some really nice pieces of Japanese ordnance in there. Time to get a bigger room i think not sure you can fit anything else in there.
Best regards Weasel.

A fantastic collection.
What can you tell us about the brass case with the fuze sticking out of the neck? Is it an improvised grenade?
Cheers, Paul.

Quite the impressive collection and very efficient use of space! Wecome aboard.

So, whats the story behind the skulls in the corner?

Thanks guys. It's been fun putting it all together. Wish I had more space, but had to "steel" that much. Really only enough room for the Japanese stuff. Lots of flags, and pictures I can't display. You are correct Paul. That is an improvised grenade. Mfg. from a 25MM shell casing. A cache of them was found in the Philippines. Filled with picric acid. Wood plug, and simple fuse. H. The trophy heads are part of my headhunter collection. Facimiles, or course. They are from top: Moko Mokai, Dried tatooed head form New Guinea. Tsantsa, shrunken head from Peru. Mundurucu, Dried head from Brazil. A fascinating study.

That's one cool collection, thanks for showing it.
I'm glad you answered the query about the shell with the thing sticking out the top of it, never seen one of those before and I was going to ask.
Great use of space.
Welcome to the forum.
Dave.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Falcon, I used to shoot quite a few of them. Till the last time I shot the "Red 9". A piece of the bolt chipped off, and the extractor flew into outerspace. :tinysmile_cry_t4: Now, I have shootin' guns, and lookin' guns. Some collectibles are too valuable to risk it. You can always get something else to shoot.

At least you can have the pistols and shoot them in the USA. Bolt action rifles are legal in the UK but very tightly regulated.
