Nice collection.

Hi Pointblank, very nice collection you have !

I am curious as to what the "Brown" painted projectile is that is hiding behind the really nice 76mm ARMDC C/Shot and also the large Brass case with what looks like a transport or sealed top.(Naval perhaps separate loading?)

Also in the first picture you have what appears to be a 30 mm APSE projectile without its windshield-it is 30 mm ????

Thanks for showing us all
Chris

Hi Chris,
The brown painted round is a 40mm L70 Bofors round, but not sure of origin exactly yet but believe it to be Swiss?
The big flat headed one is a French 90mm Cockerill proof round.
The round from the first picture is a 25mm M791 APDS-T. It's missing the cone unfortunatly....the hunt continues.

Hi Pointblank,
Nice collection of cannon rounds, these things can get rather addictive once you start. There are some nice rounds there with original paint, you seem to have at least one of each group of German WW2 cannon rounds from 13mm to 30mm.
The fired 20mm Oerlikon case you have at the front looks to have a hispano projectile in it from the photograph. Thanks for sharing it with us, best regards Weasel.

Not sure about that 20mm, the projectile is a bad fit, though it is unfired and fitted into a fired case, so could be just because of that. I suspected it wasn't a match!

Hi pointblank,
The Oerlikon projectile has a different profile to the one in your picture, I can't help you out with one of those but I can sort you a unfired US naval case if you want one ? just send me a pm.
Best regards Weasel.

Thanks very much for the info Pointblank.
The APSE (I think as it looks right) is the round on the right of the 24mm APDS-T round you mention.
Many thanks
Chris
