Hi Guys. I posted pictures of my toy room, right after I got it built, a year ago. Since then, I have added many new pieces. (and sold some) Also, the forum has added many new members. So I thought, "this calls for an update". Enjoy. (I do!!!) Sorry for the thousand pictures. Hard to get a wide angle shot, from five feet away.:tinysmile_fatgrin_t

Wow, impressive collection!
Very unlike any other collection I've ever seen, in terms of choice of items, etc.
You have a fine selection of Jap goodies, which is really nice.
I do find the heads "somewhat" unsettling though...:tinysmile_eyebrow_t

Cheers,
Olafo

Hello Trenchwarfare,

THANKS for sharing your spectacular "Fortress of Solitude" with the group! Your Japanese musket collection is the nicest I've seen. They are certainly a rare and unique form of firearm. I'm also a believer of the more photographs the better.

Best regards,

Randall

Fantastic collection you have there. I bet it has been many years of sacafices to build it up to where you have it now.

You might be interested in the new edition of Don Voigt's book on the Arisaka Type 99. This edition has heaps of colour photo's including associated equipment such as ammo pouchs etc. Just incase you are not aware of it, here is the link;

Thanks guys. Shelldude, one of the "tantos" in the horn rack, is a hidden percussion pistol! Not to worry Bougainville, my copy of the "99" book arrived last Monday. I was number nine on the list. Don't let the heads bother you ogreve, your ancestors were headhunters too!

A fine divirsified collection covering many different specialties. I really like the variety. Great collection...Dano

Thanks for the kind words guys. It is a labor of love. As you can see, I suffer form Collector's A.D.D. It's very hard to stay focused, cuz I love it all!:tinysmile_fatgrin_t I have sold off several collections over the years, in pursuit other wild tangents. If I were a rich man, I would have to have, a thirty thousand square foot facility to house everything. Happy Hunting!!! P.S., The trophy heads are merely well made facimiles. I didn't "aquire" them myself. However, if things keep going the direction they are in this country...:tinysmile_hmm_t:
