Hi 18pounder,

Out of the items in the photos i have a few favorites for various reasons so cannot really pick just one, out of my whole collection my favorites are probably my 2 German 88s.

Cheers,
Darren

Hi Darren,
Really nice collection you have put together, and well displayed. What are the two bottle necked cases on the lower shelf between the naval 2pr and the 20mm cases ?
Can you post a pic or two of your 88's as well please, i would like to see those.
Best regards Weasel.

A Rarden round or two would look quite nice amongst those,Darren,I've got a couple you can have if you want 'em ???

Those 2 cases are 37mm Japanese cases, i am on the hunt for a couple of projectiles to complete these, i know that they do not come around too often but am hoping to find some at some point in the future.

Regarding the 2 German 88s, i will take some photos in a bit and post.

Cheers,
Darren

Thanks 18pounder, i cannot take credit for the paint jobs as these were re painted by someone else. Because these have been painted so well and are 100% original (original as in no damage or filler etc) these are my favorite items in my collection.

Cheers,
Darren

Hello Darren, and a happy new year,
Nice collection, thanks for showing.
Are the two rounds, (green cases, blue projectiles) on the left hand side of your first picture for the Swiss 25mm Oerlikon KBA-B auto cannon? If so I have one with an empty primer pocket, there are no marks except for the headstamp which reads; 020 BM 89. If this is correct, do you know where I could find an inert primer for a reasonable price?
Cheers,
navyman.

Hi Navyman,
Yes they are both 25mm Oerlikon rounds, i am not sure where you can get a primer from, only one of mine has one (which came with it when purchased) so i could do with another too.

Cheers,
Darren
