Mortar Tail

Hi, Could anybody tell me what this is from its 60mm dia round the fins and would i be right in thinking its from a 60mm mortar but which one i can't see any markings at all and has anybody got any pic's of a complete one.

It appears to be quite similar to the 60mm WP cartridge used in Canada. The WP and HE cartridges are similar in appearance, but one of the identification features of the WP cartridge is that the tail assembly is also painted sea foam green, where the tail assembly on the HE version would be black.

Canadian ammunition is based on Austrian ammunition designs which are widely used. As I recall the Austrian 60mm WP cartridge normally has a black tail assembly, although I am sure there are other countries that also use the sea foam green tail assembly.
