Manufacturors marks

I often read a question on identification of a manufacturers marking.

I'm also often before a same question.

My question is :
exists there lists of the different manufacturers, british, germans, French,... and if yes, where can I found them ?

The German bible is, as already mentioned on the forum, "Deutsche Fertigungskennzeichen bis 1945" by Michael Heidler.

Hello Yoda, I can't provide you with definite info but this is what I know: http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/79729-fuze-manufacturers?p=187676#post187676. The RAOS (Regulations for Army Ordnance Services) existed before A&ER Volume 3 and I'm fairly sure would also have had that kind of information. Possibly the National Archives would have copies of RAOS. Best wishes from Matthew.
