This Franco-German movie, based on a 1972 novel https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082701/ imagines a group of people surviving a nuclear war extirpation by sheer chance while tasting wine in a deep cellar of a medieval castle called Malevil. It is a psychological study of human nature under stress. And yes, there is an actual battlefield fighting with survivors armed with MAS 36, shotguns and pistols. And even a scene in which Michel Serrault counts 12g shotgun shells. All very very collectable now!!! I remember reading this novel at the age of 15 or so, being totally fascinated by action without a clue of what nuclear winter is.
