Loch Morlich - Where was this photo taken?

Hi
Hopefully there is some one out there that may know where around Loch Morlich this picture was taken?
Picture is of King Haakon visiting Kompani Linge in Scotland. My guess is on the shores of Loch Morlich but where? It's a pretty big Loch...
I'll be home in Scotland in june for the first time in 5 years, we are thinking on taking a trip there (lots to do for the kids in Aviemore)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

T42,
You will probably struggle to ID this exact site if you visit. I specialise in the history of Military Training here in the UK and finding contemporary matches is very difficult - the landscape in most of teh country has dramtically changed in 60+ years. Really when doing a then & now match a key reference point is needed (i.e a building or landscape feature) - none in your photo unfortunately. I have spent 10 years looking for one particular location which ended up being about 15 miles from where I Live! I had a look on the Imperial War Museum Photo collection online and cant find this photo. Sometimes the captions can help. Another option might be if the unit is known and the War Diary can be accessed by visiting The National Archives here in the UK (Kew in london). If the unit and an approximate date is known then sometimes a particular activity (Visit of a King would definately be in there!!) will list the details and sometimes a grid reference (which will be a Military Cassini type). There is plenty military history to see in Scotland should you choose to visit. Not much help but might give you an idea of what would be involved should you choose to do some more detailed investigating - if you do PM me - I often vist the TNA and can look up a War Diary if possible to tie down to a unit/rough date!
Regards
Mark

Glass from the training area the Norwegians used was everywhere.
Looking at the thickness i'm guessing No.76 grenade or was it just molitov cocktails from old milk bottles?
