life is good

The ground here is snow covered. my collecting has me excited. I have 2 trade deals with stuff coming in the post. I willl trade anything I have non WW1 for anything WW1. Thinking about ordering a few pieces. My wife is hopelessly in love with me (and vice versa). Watched the superbowl yesterday with my children. Still waiting on my well conversed piece from England (124 days and counting). I am a lucky man. My father gave me his "Strategic Air Command" coffee mug and I am glad I did not have to wait for him to pass. Won an auction piece here (WW1 French mortar relic chunk with fuze). And last but not least preparing to order another piece for trench. All the bills are paid. House is paid off, and i'm feeling 110%. Yes my friends life is good...Dano

Imagine how good it would be with this beast in your trench. If you could get it down there without getting a hernia.Yeah, now that would be good.....

Wow

Wow Lou, For lack of a better term, might I say "ass kickin". That is one boss projectile. How about I hitchhike there and lug it home on my shoulder. Of course I would make sure there were plenty of emergency rooms aloung my route. Maybe my friend, someday we may be able to strike a deal on that one..Best...Dano

Hell like I said,Id even meet you half way, lol.

We'll have to wait for spring though. Its out in the back yard burried in snow somewhere.Probably has some rabbits or racoons living in it,I dont know for sure.Last time I tried to move it it was frozen to the ground.Yeah,spring.............

yard art

In the yard! Okay Lou, just how big is this projectile and weight? In the yard! Yikes. Careful not to run over it with your mower come spring...Dano

It was what, about 115lbs I think? 30 something inches tall? I cant remember. Thats the thing about WWI German 17cm artilley. Heavy as a mofro. Naw I was just teasin. Its stored nice and safe, inside. Did seem to make the floor in the living room creek oddly enough.

You seem happy. I wish I was that happy. Or even half as happy. Life's a b****.

Man - too much good feeling is not healthy. Come over to the UK...a bit of rain and lack of light will do you good! :tinysmile_cry_t4:
