Well-Known Member
Many thanks for all the other ID's This is the last of the Lead bullets. does anyone know of a reference book which would cover the subject, or is it down to experience only?

Photo 1-2 length = 21mm dia = 9mm weight = 14g or .5oz slight hollow in the bace and a small hole in the top

Photo 3-4 length = 23mm dia = 9mm weight = 13g or 0.4oz slight hollow in the base

Photo 5-6 length = 18mm dia = 10mm weight = 15g or 0.5oz solid base

Photo 7-8 length = 20mm dia = 11mm weight = 14g or 0.5oz deep hollow in base= 10mm

Photo 9-10 length = 17mm dia = 9mm weight =10g or 0.3oz solid base showing signs of corrosion.

Photo 11-12 length = 15mm dia = 9mm weight = 8g or 0.3oz solid base hole in the tip

Photo 13-14 length = 14mm dia = 11mm weight = 8g or 0.3oz solid base, 2 lugs like the brunswick

Photo 15-16 length = 15mm dia = 10mm weight = 9g or 0.3oz solid base.

I take it that all the bullets are hand made one at a time and not multi cast. some of the bullets with holes in the tops, the hole does not look even. So I was wondering if its an air bubble which is trapped in the mold.

None of those appear to be British military so i can't help.

Can you select white for your text please, as black text on a black background is not a good look!

Tony, thanks for looking, maybe someone else may be able to help? was the two rifling groves used on any other side arms apart from the brunswick?
