Kriegsmarine scuttling charges

I'm participating in the process of developing risk-assesment for the ammunition in the wreck of U-864 north of Bergen, Norway.

We have aquired a detailed account of the uboat's vast ammunition load, and for the most part descriptions are available in form of original handbooks etc.

However, we are looking for more information on the scuttling charges (described as 0,5 kg "Type A m") with fuzes (Zeitzünder 9 / Zeitzünder 55..?)

Any information (including scans/photos or references to relevant german manuals/datasheets etc) would be most appreciated.

I found the 1940-edition of this, but none of the sprengmittel decribed there matches the "Type A m"...

So, I was made aware of the "Sprengbüchse A mit Kabeleinführungssitz" (covered by the M.Dv. Nr. 359) probably being the item in question (ie "A m"), although having a charge of 0,4 kg vs the 0,5 kg given in the report listing the armament for the uboat.

The accompanying ignitors are propably the "Zeitzünder mit Uhrwerkschlagbolzenzündung 9 Minuten". A strange thing is that the uboat carried 36 charges, but only 24 zünder. I doubt that the Sprengbüchse A could be coupled together, so I wonder how they planned to use the 12 extra charges.

Any ideas? Also, I only have the rather poor drawing in M.Dv. Nr. 359, so if anyone have a better illustration or even photo I'f be very happy if I could get a copy and use it in the report.
