Here is a picture that may interest you.
I believe it was taken in Egypt 1917.....its a rather graphic image. Just look at all the spent cases and ammo boxes around the gun!!

(apologies for quality of picture, taken with digi cam......original much clearer)

WW1 images

Sounds like a great idea pointblank0. I have a butt load of WW1 images. Photo 2 is the only way I like to see sections (period done) Will start with favorites first......Dano

I am glad this has sparked some interest. I guess the1b6c46baeeb08c41ffff80a6fffffff3.jpg only rule would be it has to be a WWI period image, so will the moderators keep this under the heading banner who can a new thread be kicked off?_z.jpg

Efficient MG08/15 crew. Note bipod type and standard issue of the luger. Also has the T Gewehr pattern bipod ( which I seek) :tinysmile_eyebrow_t
