Heard in last night TV news that a 27 years old man died and 24 years old injured in explosion when they were handling an unexploded artillery shell in a garage in Kemi, northern Finland. According to police they have collected quite a quantity of unexploded ordnance from WW2 battlefields. No further details yet. WHY DO PEOPLE NEVER LEARN:tinysmile_angry_t:

Unfortunately they will never learn.
Sorry to hear the news and yet another lesson about handling unexploded ordnance..........DONT!!!

regards Kev

Police Pictures in news site show Nebelwerfer rockets,152mm artillery rounds,75mm artillery rounds,50mm,81mm and 120mm mortar rounds and allkinds of other stuff.Rusty stuff...

Very stupid overall.

Here 2 pictures which local police just pubished about the items collected from site today. In my opinion just scrap metal with no collectable or commercial value.
