Imperial India Viceregal Lamps ~

Some years ago for what was then what seemed like a fortune I bought a pair of
carriage lamps. They were large and each had a Victorian crown on top. I knew
and this is all that I knew then was that only Special Royal coaches had that feature.
When I got then home I discovered that one of the candle holders was marked to the
main carriage builder in Imperial India. I have been trying off and on to find an image of
an Indian Viceregal carriage of the Victorian era with no luck. I have an image of
Mountbatten in 1947 in a carriage with Kings Crown lamps (maybe the Victorian carriage
refurbished with new lamps and Kings insignias?) -Well if he's in it it's a Military vehicle at least once !
I also have this nice image of the contemporary British lamps (they differ in detail, square tops versus round) from 1910 showing G.V. and the Kaiser in a carriage that still has the Victorian crown lamps. So maybe these things weren't changed all that quickly if ever ? I should probably write to the Royal Mews which should have a good idea about such things if any one does. But I thought I would post this just for fun.
Of all the things to find in a small antique shop in a small town over here.
