Has anyone got any ideas as to whot this could be, found in Dorset last month

I am sure it is a base fuze for a naval 2 pounder dated 1941:neutral:
 
Base fuze

I found it on the Dorset coastal path at the back of Bindon hill so maybe 2 pounder from a tank. Thanks for the identification.
 
The shape looks right for a Hotchkiss base fuze. I know nothing more beyond that. XT
