ID of Possible fuse found in Normandy

Hi guys, got this item a few days ago off ebay, it was found in Arromanches, Normandy. it measures 3inches tall by 1.5 inches wide. its made of brass and possible iron/steel internals. It has the marking 4-37.AT on it and thats it.
