ID needed.

Hi, I found something that looks like a bomb nose make out of Bakelite. It has a screww thread and slots on the side to tighten it. also had ID numbers on the inside.
anyone know what it is?

Nose cap for Fuze

what you have there is a Fuze nosecap possibly for a Fuze such as a
211 N-see attached picture.

The pictured nose cap has also has the cutout in the side where the Fuze setter would have fitted.
