ID For Projectile or Nose Assembly?

Measures approximately 60MM In Diameter and 10.5 Inches In Length with hollow plastic nose cone. The only markings are the inking's shown in photos.

It is the subprojectile body and tracer (minus WC penetrator) for the 105mm G M392/M728 APDS-T projos. More photos and info here:

It appears that your tracer might be live, except the tungsten core was never loaded into the body, so your tracer could be for looks only. Rumor has it, that the windscreen is made from magnesium to make a flash when it hits a hard target, so the tankers can verify their aim and confirm a proper impact on armor.
