IAA Forum

I know it's kinda weird me asking here, but does anyone know what's up with the IAA Forum? It seems like it's been off the air for two or so days. Though this site is where I go for most of my ammo fix, the IAA has some good contributors and has some interesting things (to me) once in a while. Thanks, Bruce.

Some of the Administrators were not aware of the crash until yesterday. But, i guess they are working on it. Let's hope that it is not as bad as the crash of a few years ago when a lot of the archives were lost, they had to re-build the site, and everyone had to re-register.

The IAA Forum is maintained by an all volunteer crew so getting the Forum backup and running may take some time. Below is the IAA Facebook notice that the Forum is down.

Ugh, FACEBOOK EVIL, many many demons. No watch there :tinysmile_twink_t2:. Ironically enough, since I never go there nor have an account, my DW and kids practically live there. I must be a fossil who still thinks that anything you call a phone is to be used to talk through. Thanks, BD.

Ray, yours are some of the posts I most look forward to. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Cheers, Bruce.

Bruce,

I refuse to use Facebook also, so we must be in the same boat on that subject (I don't understand the attraction of telling everyone about everything you are doing all the time. I've got enough to keep myself busy as it is). I was just searching the IAA site for some information and by chance came across the Facebook notice.

Me too. Let alone Twitter :alberteinstein:

As long as everyone is talking about the IAA forum, who is going to SLICS?

I'm planning on going for one day. This will be my third time to attend and I always find interesting items and meet good people from all over the world.

I'll be there Tues-Fri. We've got a couple tables so if anyone needs someplace to dump your stuff and sit for a while -
