What calibre of round is it, and where on the headstamp do these letters appear, please?

It would be a great help if you could give some indication of calibre, size or any other information. A picture would be even better.

I presume that this is an artillery case??

Hi,
Middleton, R & Co Ltd, Leeds made Stokes bombs during WW1 as did Isles Ltd, also Leeds.
