Hello,
I found this website when trying to google for diagrams and reference photos for German fuzes.
I am trying to do a mechanical model/cutaway on the computer of German fuzes and ordnance but I am finding a few holes in the info available online and I hope you can help.
This is what I have so far, I used the op1666 manual for reference.
Any high resolution photos or scans of diagrams would be fantastic.
One question I have is the gaine is shown to be resting on some sort of base then surrounded by picric pellets.
What was the common assembly procedure for the fuze in the fuze pocket?
was the fuze just inserted into the pellets?
here are my humble attempts. eventually i would like to make it as accurate as possible.
are any schematic diagrams available? I figured that as the Germans were such sticklers for standards one might exist.
Thanks!
