Hi,
I'm lost to understand variants of 8 1/2lb practice bombs.
The documentation indicates Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3 are made with plastic, with suspension band.
The different diagrams let me interrogative !

But what is this one (not plastic made) with single eyeblolt ?

This one (made of plastic) is fitted with an uncommon fuze. I saw different examples on internet with this brass nose plug. Is it original or homemade nose fuze ?

The white bakelite bomb with the knurled screw is the Mk2 the Mk1 just has the brass plunger

These may explain more the Mk2 with the knurled screw had a extension rod fitted after screw removed

Looks very much like a Canadian or Common Wealth 11.5 lb Bomb, Aircraft, Practice

They had white and orange spotting charges that ejected out the rear, between the fins.
