Help To Expand Small Arms Collection Required

Can anyone help with information or details of shows/auctions etc I could attend to obtain more items for my small arms collection.
 
Hello. I have never been a small arms collector, but specialistauctions.com would be a good place to start without the need to travel
 
The International Ammunition Association (IAA) has members all around the world. There are shows that they attend in both England and Europe, as well as many shows here in the USA. Visit the IAA web site, join the Forum and ask the question there. I'm sure that the members in your area will contact you with help.

For Europe try the ECRA and there if you are in the UK the British section. There must be members here who can provide you with details about that.
 
The British branch of ECRA (European Cartridge Research Association) has about 120 members and holds three meetings per year, open to members and their guests: two major ones at Bisley (usually in late October and early March) and a smaller one in north Lincolnshire (early July). If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll give you the contact details concerning membership.

ECRA also arranges a huge International meeting once a year in September (again, members and guests only); in Switzerland, Germany or the Netherlands (it rotates around). That's by far the best place to go for the widest collecting choice.

There's also a regular ECRA Bulletin (paper or pdf) with 12 issues per year, consisting of questions, answers and information items.

What are you looking for I have lots of spares I can send you, I am always happy to help new collectors.

I would really recommend joining at least the IAA or ECRA if you can, both if possible. They have a massive amount of knowledge and help to new and established collectors, all friendly and happy to help and identify things for you.
