Glasmine 43 Explosive

I have recently acquired a Glasmine 43 in excellent shape. Would like to create the explosive block that goes in it. Does any one have photo's of one and dimensions. Was it the typical waxed paper wrapped block? Any help would be appreciated.

Here's my replica. A wooden block wrapped in waxed paper. Don't forget to drill a pocket for the detonator/blasting cap.

dimensions - 7cm X 5cm X 3.8cm or 2 3/4" X 1 3/4" x 1 3/8"

To clarify, I did not make this. Got it from somebody on here. I don't remember who.

It measures 7x5x4cm. And yes typical waxed paper.

your pocket for the det is on the side, should be on the top for the glass mine, otherwise the German igniters won't fit.
Yes you are correct, but this one has detonator pockets on both sides. I should have mentioned that, sorry.

Thank you both for your photo's. Attached is a photo I found that said it is the explosive charge for the glass mine, looks different from the ones you both have show. Do you think it is also correct?rsz_glasmine2.jpg

Bakelite containers were usually filled with Picric Acid ( GrF. 88 ), which is very sensitive to humidity. As the same stuff was also packed in waxed paper, I assume bakelite ones could serve in glass mines.
