German WWI artillery fuze collection

Hi all, I just wanted to share this picture of where my collection of WWI german artillery fuzes is as of today. I'm getting to the point where I am liking the fuzes just about as much as my affinity for the grenades. Most are "relic" like as some are dug. I have been fortunate enough to pick up a couple of examples in the past few months that i'd been looking for quite a while. One I would really like to get is the Dopp Z.15 as I didn't even know it existed until a recent thread on dis-assembly of one. Life is better than average....Dano

Hi 18 pounder. I certainly appreciate the kind words. Lately it seems that I am finding stuff that i've been seeking for some time, and at prices that are somewhat inexpensive. Good living. Best to you and yours...Dano

Hi Daniel,

I very glad to see sold items in others collection (Dopp. Z. 91 Sb).
If I get something German which is not in your collection, I will propose it to you first.

Hi Hootch, Good to hear from you. Yes that Dopp. Z. 91 Sb I got from you is one of my favorites and the price was right. Only thing in my life I ever ordered from Latvia. I do so appreciate it for the offer of proposing a deal to me first. It only took 1 1/2 weeks for that Dopp 91 to get from Latvia to my front porch!!! Looking forward to contact in the future. Best to you and yours....Dano

Nice fuzes Dano, keep at it, before you know it your trench will be full of them.
Dave.

Thanks Dave, I sure appreciate it, and Jens you KNOW that to dig one myself is a life dream, but may never happen. Merry Christmas to all, we had to put off X-mas till January as my sisters husband of 35 years passed on friday morning (aged 56), and it just don't seem right to celebrate. Mike always treated me as his own brother and he will be missed. Bye stumblebum....Dano
