Hi, folks

I'm looking for ID this fuze. I guess it's german, it seems a kind of AZ 23 fuze without delay selector. It's in brass.

Total length : 93mm
diameter : 55 mm
Screw diameter : 46 mm

And no marking (except number 28, on the side, near a hole).

Hey Pascal,

Kinda looks like a Dutch fuze for "7 veld" (that is 7 cm field gun) ammo , these were both captured during the 1940 campaign and produced under German occupation after the Dutch surrender.
Send a PM to Fjordhouse, he should know for sure
http://fjordhouse.no/ammo2/shop/shop.html ( see shop -> ammo -> page 4)
greetz,

Menno.

Fuze No 28

Pascal,

I've looked in our documentatio nfor the measurements and the are correct to your measurements.
The Germans did use the "7 veld" ammunition during the second world war and it became Feldkanone 243 (FK 243 (h) the shell was called
7.5 cm A.Z. Gr. 2432 (h).

Tomorrow I will put some pictures on the net for you.

Chris
