Yes, in the middle there must be an iron rod, the nose cap is made out of rubber. Ben

Very nice find Ben. Thank you for posting the pictures.

From the picture the wood texture looks very like the 3.7cm Pak Ex.
Lots of small particles flake off my 3.7cm Ex, is this the same with your 7.5cm Ex?

yes it is, thre material looks more like pressed carton, i am not sure, Ben

The condition of your Ex looks good.

I am a bit worried about my 3.7cm Ex as far as deterioration is concerned. I'm not sure if it is going to need some treatment of some kind.

What else did you find yesterday?

Wow, Nice item Ben....the plain old KwK38's are hard enough to find. Would you mind posting more pictures of the 7,5cm KwK38 collection.

Same goes for anyone else.

Cheers, Rich

It's an excellent idea and I would love to see what other 7,5cm KwK and KwK 40 shells are in other collections but would it not be better to have separate threads. Then they can be easily found for future reference.

If you add the pictures on the end of Ben's 7,5cm Ex thread they might get lost and forgotten about.
