Hi Hangarman iam not sure ,around the top it reads "TEAR OFF DISC AND LIGHT WITH PORTFIRE OR FUSEE" I was wondering if the fusee bit was a lighted tape [like lighting a big firework ] or something like a pull ignitor /fuse assembly?

A fusee is usually a wind proof match, it looks like your one Dave still has the cap on where you lite the fuse in the center, the hole could be the filler, here's my No18 smoke...... Dave

Thanks Dave ,that explains it ,nice No18 ,what are the dimensions please? My No24 is 12" tall and 8"across the top .Sadly the cap wont move ,but at 12 i thought it was a bargain ,regards Dave

Hello Dave,

Early this year / late last year I added such info to a thread on this site but haven't been able to find it again to link to your query. There were no pictures, just the info.

Matthew

Does anyone know what container these (No24 Mk3)came in, was it a B166? Any idea of the markings on the outer box?
Cheers
Hangarman
