Those appear to be ordinary cartons of T291. Except the opened one with the partial back part of the label. Does it appear that the original label extends across the top with the standard "DISPOSAL OF FIRED CASES ETC ETC". Or is the top blank also? Does it look like it's a two piece label? (The paste-on overlabel on the front is standard). I confess that I've never seen one like that. Those without the "Eagle" on the back are usually neatly cut off just above where the date is.
And the blue line that comes from the front, stops on the top and continues on the back appears to be on both boxes, under a 10X loop, not cut or taken off and was printed that way. I also see what you mean by the paste on front label. Underneath of that I can make out the following:
Bruce - I confess that I've never seen an FA T291 label without the "Disposal" notation on the top. If you look closely on the front, you can see where it does have an over-label. It's about 1 1/4" by 4 1/4" and contains the T291 LOT FA 17 BULLET 173 GRAINS VELOCITY 2640. The original label under it contained a lot more information but was discontinued shortly after production began.
