F Barker & son (1932) full hunter pocket watch style officers compass?

hello im looking for a bit of info on this, its a pocket watch style pocket compass, nickel plated, with the broad arrow stamp on it and a serial number B13369 and the name , F barker & son (1932) MKvi, al i can find is info telling me that it was a WAR department issue officers compass? any thoughts
 
Hi zeus73,I have had a look on the net and your compass is as you say an officers issue compass,this design of compass was in production before the first world war,the 1932 denotes when the manufacturers,Francis Barker became a limited company,from what I can see on some auction sites they are sought after,one for sale at $275 US,
