This guy supposedly does not realize a silverback can rip you apart like a piece of paper.
 
That is why he covers his eyes when the silverback is there. You are not supposed to make eye contact with them. If you do, they take it as a challenge and attack.
 
That's what a Dutch woman did not realize. She thought a Rotterdam zoo Silerback liked her when he smiled back at her time after time, not realizing he was "showing teeth", not laughing. In fact she was telling the monkey ; I've got you in my tracking radar and I am going to attack you.

She was crippled for life.

That's why I think this guy is not smart, if the monkey becomes itrritated for any reason, you're toast!
