The diagram doesn't give me enough detail to tell if it is close to a match or not. I don't have an M431 on the shelf, and I don't see one in the TM 43 doc, do you have another reference that gives a better view?
Very unusual. I've spoken with other knowledgeable individuals, no one seems to have a reference to an M431, including EOD Techdiv. For something that made it though to a standardized model number that is a bit strange.
I wish that anyone ever documenting a cutaway view would also show a full view, it would make identification much simpler. I have several publications with views like yours, and while they often identify rare and unusual items, the views suck. But it is a starting point. Thanks.
I have a 2 line statement that says it was replaced by the 423 427 famiklty. But nothing else. Like you for a fuze to be in the stand fuze pub but not history is stange
