Euro vs Pound

Was clicking through a slideshow on the Euro. Had to do with the current "issues" about it all, although the slideshow was highlighting the newness of it, back in the day. Anyway, having a side collection of this sort of stuff, I'm always drawn to anything about coins and currency.

The first pic pretty much speaks for itself. I LOLd.

The second pic is of interest to the "collector" side of me. Am wondering if anyone onboard here might have a spare "Euro Starter Set", still in the bag. Like the one pictured. These were apparently one of the first offerings to acclimate folks to the new coinage. More than willing to pay for or trade.

Hi Rick,
Just checked at our national internet auction that Finnish unopened Euro Starter Sets are offered "buy it now" 27-40 Euros and in auction starting from about 20 Euros.
