EOD facility, Camp Pendleton, CA

This is not a museum, this is an active duty training facility located on an active military base, so access is difficult. The reason it contains a lot of old stuff is that people use anything to create bombs around the world and these young Marines must be able to recognize the archaic items. Frankly, my head was spinning from the variety of ammo. Enjoy.

Interesring to see the pictures 6 and 7. It is the AP-T cartridge as used in thr Dutch pre WW-2 Solothurm anti tank rifles.

Man, they have sure added a lot of goodies to their museum since I was there! The 120mm brass HEAT case for the Marine Corps heavy tank that is shown in Photo 2 and 7 of this set came from me. I also sourced the Securesearch Mine posters shown in the second set of photos.
 
Just want to thank, Vlad, for all of these incredible photos. Super grateful for these and all of the amazing Museum and Military ordnance facility pics you post from around the globe. Your the best! Its almost impossible for me to travel to see some f these facilities and I am thankful that you take the time to always take such amazing pictures and that you share them. You rule! Pendleton always did have one of the best "Training Aids Libraries" and the best collection of small arms. Glad to see it's still there. Cheers, Bruce.
