Embedded/impaled UXO in a body

Last year I taught some continuing education classes to some doctors at the St Louis Veterans Administration, the subjects were how blast and fragmentation is produced or rather how ordnance functions and causes the damage. Was amazing how the surgeons could look look at a wounded soldier but not realize how the frag wounds were so different. Recently they have asked me to set up a class on embedded /impaled UXO in a wounded soldier. While I have had some first hand experience with this while in Vietnam - the HE projectile from an M2 AP mine stuck in a VN soldier (not really a problem since the guy was dead anyway), I am looking for more information. Specifically incidents, pictures, ordnance items encountered and any technical steps/guidelines (not medical procedures).

Once I have my paper completed I'll do a power point presentation the same, then post them here for comments or just plain info.

Anything will help, thank you in advance.
