These are two of my bakelite No.221 fuze caps. There is one minor difference between them. The one on the left has two holes, one for the grub screw to lock it in place on the fuze and the other hole I suppose is for a key to screw it tightly on the fuze.
The right one only has the hole for the grub screw. It has two vertical slots on 90° angles from the holes, possibly for a different type of key.
Apart from this all dimensions seem to be exactly the same.
I have seen lots of these caps, in both versions. Now my question is, were these caps used interchangeably and are the differences only due to another manufacturer, or am I looking at two totally different caps?
