Clockwork

Hi, I found this in the bottom of my spares box after having a clear out, its a clockwork mechanism of some kind i am thinking its to do with a fuze of some sorts can anybody tell me any more about it please.

it is a clockwork of german Krupp/Thiel system which was developed at end of 1st WW. But this one I think has been produced by license in Great Britain and should fit in a british No. 203 / 207 / 208 / 211 fuze.
