What a wonderful place http://canadianmilitaryheritagemuseum.ca/. Naturally Canadian history is intertwined with British history, so you'll see the War of 1812 from non American perspective. Some exhibits are unique, one of a kind, like Mussolini's book or German WWI gas canistre mortar. Highly recommended.
The radio inside the Jeep is marked in English and Russian, it is WWII American Land-Lease. Lewis MG came to the museum without a mantle, with heat dissipation ridges exposed, and with a wooden fake magazine.

Wow a lot of pictures. I live on what was once the Canadian Barracks where Canadian troops spent 3/4 of their military career training for the big event, 1st and 2nd WW but no museum or heritage center like this whatsoever.

Brantford Museum & Leach catapult.

Thanks for taking those images, a lot of work, I knew they just went through a big renovation. They have
never put much effort into properly identifying their artillery projectile collection unfortunately.
I see a couple of things from me in the images though.
I offered them this original Leach Catapult from 1916, but they showed no interest. I would like to find
a good home for it. The Liberty Memorial Museum in Kansas would like it, but not budget to ship it ~

From what I can find out, there are only about five of these in existence now.

I may consider driving to Kansas City either before or after SLICS next spring. Let me know the dimentions and weight, and I just might drive it to them if it fits in my minivan.
