Can anyone identify these projectiles please?

I have no other information on them and didn't take the pictures.

Thanks

Pete

I agree with 2pounder that they are lead coated shells minus the lead, but without knowing the diameter it is difficult to say with any prescision what nationality they are or what size.

Many thanks, it doesn't matter what gets posted on BOCN, somebody knows what it is!

The two marked with an "X" are German Krupp shells. Don't know the one at right.

Hum difficult,

look at this. Your two X marked projectiles are very similar as the prussian 6 pdr.
I suppose you have no idea of the dimensions ?

Thanks to Mr BELOT Henry for his wonderful documentation.

Yoda, I cannot read French, is the document you attached a French or German Krupp shell? Cheers, John

Hello,
from the number on the projectile, the cloth on the shelf and the color of the rack, I think the picture was taken in the depository of the Military Museum Lesany in the Czech Republic. It is to assume that this is Prussian or Austro Hungarian ammunition. In the unlikely event that You get no results from this forum, You can try to contact them. They sure have the inventory numbers. Attached are two pictures from their exhibition in Prague in 2007.
Best Regards, Bob
