1918, the end tail of IWW and the very beginning of so called Spanish flu pandemic https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31322960/. A large Italian military hospital is overwhelmed with a mixture of battle casualties, some self inflicted. 2 Italian military doctors, one from a common background, another from creme de la creme of military elite, try to deal with an additional strain of Spanish flu cases. Very cool uniforms of old Savoia period. The end titles of this movie carry an approximate number of IWW casualties vs Spanish flu casualties.

Spanish flu was a misnomer, Spain was not involved in IWW fighting and openly reported horrendous human death toll from the flu. Both Allies and Axis were hiding the true death toll, not willing to encourage the opponents into swift victory at war. So looking at the newspapers, it appeared like only Spain had the disease.

Have you seen the PRESENT day bird flu reports?
Increasing the biomass of both humans and animals (farm crowding) to no end will have severe consequences.
